Scholarship Application Form

 

This application is for a scholarship award for the 2014-2015 academic year. Please only complete this application once.

Priority consideration is given to those who apply before February 15, 2014. Applications received after the February 15, 2014 deadline may be considered for scholarships, contingent upon funding availability.

Please note the required letter of recommendation must be submitted seperately per the scholarship instruction page. Applications will not be considered without the letter of recommendation.

Students must verify with their recommender that their letter has been submitted. Letters submitted after the February 15th priority deadline will cause the application to be considered incomplete for the deadline and those applications will not be reviewed in the first round of awarding.

Note: If unsure, list "undeclared." Students must be a major in the College of Engineering - students enrolled in the Entertainment Engineering & Design major are considered to be a major in both the College of Fine Arts & Engineering and are eligible for engineering scholarship consideration.


INCOMING FRESHMEN FOR THE FALL 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR & CURRENT UNLV FRESHMEN WHO PARTICIPATED IN FIRST ROBOTICS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION FOR A SCHOLARSHIP BASED ON FIRST ROBOTICS PARTICIPATION. STUDENTS AT THE SOPHOMORE LEVEL OR HIGHER AT UNLV WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY, BUT WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL OTHER COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS.

>Note: To be considered for the FIRST Robotics scholarship, you will be required to submit a letter of recommendation confirming your participation from your FIRST advisor. Please submit that letter along with your general scholarship application letter of recommendation to Jennifer Kennedy in the College of Engineering Advising Center by the February 15th deadline.
