Your NSHE ID is a unique, universal ID provided to all students, faculty, and staff in the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE). It replaces the L-number or current SIS user ID. It's provided to new students when they apply to the University.
Current students will receive it via Rebelmail in early April.
Faculty/Staff will be contacted and will receive their ID after completing a FERPA tutorial, some form of training, and a security agreement.
Students: this password is sent as a second, follow-up email to the one containing your NSHE ID (new students receive it via your email address provided on the admission application, current students receive it via your official UNLV Rebelmail account). Your access emails will be from IThelp@unlv.edu.
Faculty: this password is sent to the email address we have on file with Human Resources as a second, follow-up email to the one containing your NSHE ID. Emails are sent after you are added as an instructor on the class schedule in MyUNLV. Your access emails will be from IThelp@unlv.edu.
Staff: your password is provided after receiving security clearance and an NSHE ID, it will come from a member of the MyUNLV security team.
If you chose a permanent password and have since forgotten it, please use the Forgot Password link on the MyUNLV Portal
